Former Group Member, James Manton, wins Fitzwilliam College Research Fellowship

James Manton

Congratulations for James Manton, ex LAG member, now in the Microscopy Development Team at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, for winning a prestigious Research Fellowship at Fitzwilliam College.  James has made groundbreaking contributions to superresolution microscopy method development, including work on Structured Illumination Microscopy, Selective Plane Illumination Microscopy and Localisation Microscopy.  He recently finished his PhD in the group and will be dearly missed as a member of the group, however, the proximity of his new work location means that we will continue to consult him frequently on aspects particularly of single cell SPIM data visualisation!

Well done James!
