Chetan Poudel and Ioanna Mela recently attended the 63rd Biophysical Society Annual Meeting in Baltimore, USA. Ioanna co-chaired the platform on "Bacterial Mechanics, Cytoskeleton and Motility" together with Dr Benjamin Bratton from Princeton University.
Chetan Poudel presented "Correlative AFM-FLIM measurements in living cells and in solar cell materials", at the Force Spectroscopy and Scanning Probe Microscopy platform, whilst Ioanna Mela presented "Using DNA origami as a tool in the targeted destruction of bacteria".
Both presentations were very well-received by the audience with lots of really good questions.
