Dr Miklos Erdelyi

Current post: Lecturer, University of Szeged.  Department of Optics and Quantum Electronics. 

Summary: Miklos shot to fame for building the first superresolution microscope in the UK based on the principle of direct Stochastic Optical Reconstruction Microscopy (dSTORM).  The work was done in collaboration with the National Physics Laboratory (Dr. Alex Knight) and the inventors of dSTORM, the group of Prof. Markus Sauer at the University of Würzburg.  Sorely missed optics guru in the group.
